A LITTLE NOTE ABOUT SHAREWARE About ten years ago, when the Poptics fonts were first released, I received at least one shareware payment nearly every day. I was literally making my car payments* with shareware fees. These days, even though I still frequently see these fonts used, receiving a payment is a rare event. This leads me to believe that people no longer bother to pay their shareware fees unless forced to (by the crippling of demo versions, etc.). At least not for fonts. Despite that, I am still making these fonts available as uncrippled software. To those wonderful individuals & organizations who DO pay their shareware fees (you know who you are), thank you. We love you. As for the rest of you—prove me wrong. Go ahead. I dare you. *And I'm still driving that cheap car. |
